ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X WOOD WOOD ULTRABOOST
It’s only February and we already stopped counting the highly anticipated adidas Originals collabs that where released in 2016 – almost every week another banger comes to the stores and this week is no exception. adidas Consortium teamed up with Danish streetwear label Wood Wood to present to you two variants of the Ultraboost.
The white version comes without laces and a strap over the mid foot area while the black version features a converted cage and rope laces. Despite being very opposite colorwise bothe pairs share a common design: small lines with orange and blue color present a physical detection made in 2014 – Wood Wood even entered a physical lecture in preparation for this project. We are no physicists but well, the design looks clean and fabulous!
Both pairs of the ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X WOOD WOOD ULTRABOOST will be available as a pre-release on February 20th via all Wood Wood stores and woodwood.dk while the worldwide release takes place on February 27th at all Consortium dealers and No.74 and No.42.
Wenn 2016 12 Monate lang so läuft, wie von adidas Originals bis jetzt begonnen, dann könnte das ein großartiges Jahr für jeden Turnschuh- und Boostfan werden. Nahezu wöchentlich haben die drei Streifen absolute Knaller angekündigt und releast – da stellt diese Woche natürlich keine Ausnahme dar: Mit Wood Wood haben sie sich einen im Streetwear-Bereich besonders renomierten Partner ausgesucht, der seit 2002 mit typisch dänischem Design glänzt.
Zwei Versionen des Ultraboost wird es geben, in weiß kommt der Ultraboost ganz ohne Laces und mit einem Band über dem Mittelfuß, der schwarz-weiße Colorway wird, wie gewohnt, geschnürt. Beide Varianten besitzen orange und blaue Details im Inneren, an der Heel sowie unter der Torsion-Sohle. Schlichtes Design wird bei dieser Kollaboration groß geschrieben. Abgerundet wird sie durch subtile Wood Wood Logos auf der Zunge.
Übrigens: die weißen Striche und die orangen bzw. blauen Farbelemente sollen an eine astrophysische Entdeckung im Jahr 2014 erinnern – die Jungs von Wood Wood haben sich in Vorbereitung der Kollaboration sogar einige Physik-Stunden angehört!
Beide Paare des ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X WOOD WOOD ULTRABOOST erscheinen zunächst am 20.2. als Pre-Release in allen Wood Wood Stores sowie auf woodwood.dk, am 27.2. folgt der weltweite Release bei No.74, No.42 und den bekannten Consortium-Dealern – Uebervart, Overkill und TGWO, um nur einige zu nennen!
