The Air Jordan 5 Is Coming In An Olympic Color Way

Jordan Brand will release an Air Jordan 5 right in time for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janairo. The shoe has a similar colorway like a Jordan 5 that was released in very limited numbers in the year 2009. Then as now, the Jordan 5 has a white leather upper and a black midsole. Both versions show golden details, but they are placed differently. In 2009 the lining and the outsole were golden, as in the 2016 version, the tongue and the shark teeth at the midsole are kept in gold. Black appeares again in the lining and also on the plastic insert of the top lacing. On the heel sits a black embroidered Jumpman instead of the Nike Air logo.

This Air Jordan 5 will arrive at retailers just in time for the Olympic Games.It will be released on August 13th. We’ll keep you up to date to tell you which Jordan retailers will get the shoe.

Auch Jordan Brand lässt sich nicht lumpen und bringt zu den Olympischen Spiele in Rio de Janairo einen Air Jordan 5 heraus. Der Schuh hat einen ähnlichen Colorway wie ein bereits 2009 in sehr limitierter Auflage releaster Jordan 5. Damals wie heute hat der Jordan 5 ein weißes Lederupper und eine schwarze Mittelsohle. An beiden Versionen sind goldene Details, doch diese sind unterschiedlich platziert. Waren 2009 noch das Lining und die Außensohle golden, so sind bei der 2016er Version die Zunge und die Haifischzähne an der Mittelsohle in Gold gehalten. Schwarz taucht erneut im Lining und am Plastikeinsatz der obersten Schnürung auf. Auf dem Hacken ist ein schwarzer gestickter Jumpman statt des Nike Air Logos zu sehen.
