As Supreme now started to launch their Spring & Summer 2018 line-up, the highly anticipated NBA collection finally has a release date. The NYC skate brand will release a bunch of NBA-themed sneakers basketball gear alongside official NBA outfitter Nike. Next to three different warm-up jackets, two jerseys and two authentic shorts in both black and white are featured. But the core piece of this joint collection is a set of two Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Mid ’07 that also use the NBA theme.
After the official Nike shop images of the black colorway hit the web a couple of weeks ago, Supreme now unveils both sneakers. Sporting either an all-black or an all-white leather upper, the Supreme Air Force 1 Mids are decked out with several NBA team logos on the toebox, forefoot and sidewalls. Collaborative branding can be spotted on the tongue label and insoles, while “Supreme” lettering graces the AF1’s signature ankle strap. The bold theme is continued on the matching apparel pieces and references all-over logo jackets that were poppin’ during the early and mid 2000s.
Next to this black and white AF1 versions, a style code for a Cobalt Tint colorway was also reported earlier. Since this one isn’t included in Supreme’s official presentation, it might be an exclusive to Nike if the shoes drop again via nike.com at a later date.
