Sneakersnstuff x Social Status x adidas Consortium
The adidas Sneaker Exchange continues – every month of 2017, two Consortium stores from all over the world team up with adidas Consortium and create two different collab silhouettes together. February is the month of Sweden’s Sneakersnstuff and American retailer Social Status – both are big players in the retail game. They decided to work on an UltraBoost and the new Superstar Boost, giving it the popular “Oreo” look.
“It’s all about the details” – that’s what Peter Janson, Co-Founder of Sneakersnstuff says. The UltraBoost features a black & white melange Primeknit upper, leather details on heel and tongue, a suede leather cage, co-branded leather tongue labels and co-branded insoles. The whole construction sits on a white Boost midsole with a Continental rubber outsole.
The Superstar Boost is adidas’ latest silhouette to get a Boost makeover – the first one was just brought out with Neighborhood and Bape in January. The Superstar Boost combines the classic look of a Superstar with a modern twist – The upper was updated with primeknit and the midsole features Boost. Also the Superstar features leather details at heel and tongue plus co-branded tongue labels and insoles.
The Sneakersnstuff x Social Status x adidas Consortium pack will be pre-released at all Sneakersnstuff & Social Status locations on February 8. A worldwide release will follow on February 18th. You’ll have the chance to cop at No. 42 Paris, No. 74 Berlin and select Consortium retailers such as Solebox, Overkill, TGWO, Uebervart and END Clothing.
Meanwhile check out the Colette X UNDFT x adidas Consortium project that dropped in January.
