The Nike Blazer enjoyed some new-found acclaim recently, also thanks to collabs by the likes of Sacai and OFF-WHITE. With the Slam Jam x Nike Blazer Mid Class 1977, another rework of the classic silhouette is on the way.
Originally available for exclusive pre-order at Pitti Uomo 95, the shoe now sees a wider release date. The design pays tribute to retro aesthetics, represented through vintage Nike branding on the tongue. The most striking element though is the black upside-down Swoosh which contrasts the white upper and sole. While the outer side features a regular version, Slam Jam flips the logo on the inner sides. “CLASS” and “1977” letting on the heels then finalizes the simple yet distinctive collaboration.
To match the overall theme, a retro-styled lookbook shows the Blazer Mid in an 80s hip hop setting. Have a look at the pics below and read on for the release info.
