Diese Woche ist der Allike Store unser Shop of the Week. Allike war lange nur ein Online Shop bis sie im letzten Jahr ihren Concept Store in Hambrg eröffnet haben.

Wie lange gibt es Allike und was waren damals die Gründe, den Shop zu eröffnen?
Allike gibt es seit 2009 als Online Store, im August 2014 haben wir zusätzlich ein Ladenlokal in Hamburg eröffnet. Uns war es nach all den Jahren Onlineshop ein Anliegen auch persönlich für unsere Kunden da zu sein.

Wie groß ist euer Team und worauf achtet ihr vor allem, wenn ihr Leute einstellt?
Momentan sind es 8 Leute, die am Projekt Allike beteiligt sind. Generell ist es von Vorteil ein netter Zeitgenosse zu sein und etwas von der Materie zu verstehen.

Was ist in euren Augen das Besondere an eurem Shop?
Wir sind weder ein klassischer Sneaker Store oder ein Concept Store, sondern verbinden beides in einem Shop-Konzept.

Was läuft zur Zeit besonders gut – der gefragteste Schuh der Stunde?
Das wechselt immer sehr schnell, aber generell sind das in dieser Saison Nike Roshe Run, Nike Huaraches und Adidas Superstars.

Auf welchen Release in nächster Zeit freut ihr euch ganz besonders?
Wir freuen uns besonders auf das Adidas Superstart City Pack sowie die kommenden Quickstrike Releases von Nike

Was macht bei euch den größeren Teil der Sales aus – online oder instore?
Das wechselt immer stark von Release zu Release, aber durch die 5 Jahre Vorsprung im Online Business läuft online im Moment noch mehr!

Gibt es bei euch demnächst ein Event und was ist geplant?
Wir werden im Juli einen Event mit Official Caps und Aaron Kai hier im Laden haben bei dem Aaron Bilder austellen und malen wird. Ansonsten wird es einen zweiten Teil unser Legends of Sole Sneaker Ausstellung geben.

Was findet man bei euch, was man in keinem anderen Store findet?
Vor allem die Gesamtzusammenstellung unseres Sortiments ist in Deutschland ziemlich einmalig, nicht viele Läden in Deutschland führen z.B. Porter Bags, Lexdray Bags, Surface to Air, the Fourness oder auch Born // Raised Footwear

Eure Pläne für die Zukunft?
Es sind sehr interessante Sachen geplant, über die wir aber leider noch nicht sprechen dürfen, daher…

This week’s Shop of the Week is the Allike Store. Although Allike opened up their boutique in Hamburg in 2014, they have been an online shop for years and aren’t newbies in the sneaker game.

How long has Allike been around and what were your reasons to open it in the first place?
Allike was established as an online store in 2009. We’ve opened up the boutique in 2014 in Hamburg. We had the wish to be there for our customers in person after all those years of online business.

How big is your team and what’s most important when you hire new guys?
At the moment there are 8 people working together at Allike.
In order to work for us it’s a plus to be a nice contemporary and know sneakers.

In your opinion, what’s the most special thing about your store?
We are neither a classic sneaker store nor a concept store but connect both in our own shop concept.

What is selling very well at the moment? What’s most asked for?
Even though it changes rapidly, you can say that the Nike Roshe Run, the Nike Huarache and the Adidas Superstars are being very popular this season.

Any upcoming releases you’re looking forward to especially?
We are most definitely looking forward to the Adidas Superstart City Pack and upcoming Nike Quickstrike releases.

What makes the biggest part of your sales – online or instore?
Even though it changes depending on the releases, our online sales are still a little higher because of the prominence of our online store compared to the physical store.

Any upcoming events planned and if yes, what?
We are hosting an event with Official cap and Areon Kai in July. Aaron will not only expose paintings, but also paint. Furthermore there will be a second part of our Legends of Sole sneaker exhibition.

What can we find in your store that we won’t find anywhere else?
In the first place the combination of our range is quite unique for a German store. There aren’t many Shops offering for example „Porter Bags“, „Lexdray Bags“, „Surface to Air“, „the Fourness“ or „Born // Raised Footwear“.
