Air Max Day is drawing closer, and this year it’s a big one: On March 26, Nike will be celebrating 30 years of visible Air. Yep, it’s been 30 years since Tinker Hatfield went against the grain of sneaker design and knocked one out of the ball park by opening up the outsole for a clear view of the Air unit.

This year’s Nike Air Max Day Collection will feature an assortment of old favorites, upgrades, and never-seen-before silhouettes. The shoes will be released in the weeks leading up to the event, with some of the biggest drops on the actual holiday. Here’s what we know is coming:

Women’s Nike Air Max Jewell

Ladies first! As the second women’s-only Air Max model in history, the Women’s Nike Air Max Jewell introduces a new, streamlined silhouette with a functional focus.

Release date: March 8, 2017

Nike Air Max 1 “Anniversary”

You can’t improve on a classic. The original from 1987 returns in the colorways from day one: Classic White, Red/Grey/White, and Blue/Grey.

atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Elephant”

This retro was chosen in a recent poll among fans – the Air Max Day 2016 Vote Back. Originally released in 2006’s “Zoo Pack,” it follows in the massive footsteps of the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” by adding some elephant pattern.

Release date: March 26, 2017

Nike Air Max 1 “Masters Of Air”

Big storytelling in a special release: The Nike Air Max 1 “Masters Of Air” features the materials of the Kid Robot Air Max 1 but also the colors of several Patta collabs, the Air Max 1 Viotech and releases on Air Max Day 2017.

Release date: March 26, 2017

Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit

The Nike Air Max 90 is one of the sneaker world’s most cherished silhouettes, back to kick it with two weight-saving innovations: a Flyknit upper and a cored-out midsole.

Release date: March 2, 2017

Nike Air Max LD-Zero

This one dropped last year for Air Max Day: Created by streetwear designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, the Nike Air Max LD-Zero fuses the clean upper of 1970s runners such as the Nike LD1000 and the Boston with an updated 360 Air Max unit

Nike Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 LE

The most technical upgrade on the Air Max 1, the Ultra 2.0 LE relies on cored-out ultra-tooling to shed some weight. The tongue marks the big anniversary with “3.26” insignia.

Nike Air VaporMax

Continuing the journey that began with 1979’s Air Tailwind, the Nike Air VaporMax marks the next chapter for visible air: Thanks to brand-new construction, the lightweight shoe combines a flexible Flyknit upper with the most Air ever packed into an outsole. Whereas previous Air Max shoes relied on insulating the Air unit with a secondary layer of rubber – this one fuses Air unit and exterior layer into one single holistic VaporMax Air unit.
