Saucony is not the type of brand to keep blasting your news feed with constant releases. Rather, the Boston-based brand is known for well-chosen collabs and tasteful riffs on its rich archive.

The latter shines through in the latest drop in the newly expanded Vintage Range: The Jazz Original, based on the original Jazz silhouette from 1981, is back on the streets in flavorful new colorways, including navy and tan.

Originally released in 1981, the Jazz is quintessential Saucony; a functional 1980s-tech runner with playful color contrasts, fit for both men and women. The winner of numerous running awards over the years, the Jazz is right up there with Saucony classics like the Shadow5000 (1989) or the GridSD (1991).

As the motto of the company founded in 1898 goes: “We’ve got running in our blood.” This shoe has got the Eighties in its blood – just check out the original ad from 1981:

The new Jazz Original models are out now with a EUR 90.00 price tag. Keep it locked to @SauconyOrigs_Germany on Instagram for more info.
