PUMA continues the 50th anniversary celebrations of their legendary Suede model with standout collabs. After a super-sophisticated rendition by MCM, the German athletic brand now goes for a polar opposite with the Santa Cruz x PUMA Suede Classic.

Northern Californian skate brand Santa Cruz Skateboards is one of the oldest represenatives of their trade. Founded in 1973 by surfers Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman in Santa Cruz, CA, the brand rose to fame through their signature wacky designs and loud graphics.
In that vein, the classic PUMA silhouette receives a pretty mad makeover. Set against a black suede backdrop, the Formstripe gets jazzed up with a comic-styled pattern. Santa Cruz’ screaming hand graphic then graces the heels in blue, while matching lace tips, a co-branded tongue logo and a gum sole add finishing touches.
