Reebok Classic x High Point “Valentine’s Day Pack”

Zusammen haben sie dem Club C zum speziellen Anlass ein  Amor-mäßiges Makeover verpasst. Das Reebok Classic x Highpoint “Valentine’s Day” Pack besteht aus zwei Colorways – während das Herren-Modell in einem monochrom-roten Farbweg kommt, besitzt die Variante für die Ladies ein zartrosa Upper. Beide Colorways kommen mit Nubuck-Obermaterial und einer heller Sohle, die für einen subtilen Kontrast sorgt.
Doch wieso der 14.2.? Für das Konzept gibt es diverse Gründe: Zum einen ist da der Heimatbezug – Arizona wurde am 14. Februar 1912 zum 48. US-Bundesstaat ernannt, weshalb er auch den Spitznamen “Valentine’s State” trägt. Des Weiteren ist da der Sportbezug – die Tatsache, dass beim Tennis Null Punkte “Love” genannt werden, legt es nahe den Club C, eine klassische Tennissilhouette auszuwählen, die noch dazu gerade erst wieder aufgelegt wurde. Dass der 14.2. Valentinstag ist, müssen wir sicher nicht noch einmal erwähnen, oder?

Reebok Classic x High Point got you covered! The brand has teamed up with Arizona based boutique, to give the classic Club C a collab filled with love. The “Valentine’s Day”-Pack consists of two colorways – an all-red for the boys while the ladies can lace up the version that comes with a soft pink upper. Material wise Reebok and High Point have opted for nubuck, while off-white sole adds some subtile color blocking, also accented by the contrast stitching on the mid sole.

Besides delivering a great shoe, there’s also a cool story that makes the sneaker  even more LOVEeable ( get it? ). Arizona, home of High Point, was constituted as the 48th US-State on February 14th in 1912 which is the reason for the nickname “Valentine’s State”.  Furthermore a score of zero points in a tennis match is called „Love“, which makes it only right to chose one of the most classic tennis silhouette for the collab.
