The Reebok Aztrek Is Back for the First Time Since 1993
After relaunching the Rapide earlier this year, Reebok returns to the archives for another reprise of a beautiful 90s gem. In contrast to the rather slim Rapide silhouette, the Reebok Aztrek sports a bulky throwback look that’s up to the latest trends.
Returning now for the very first time, the shoe comes with a thick Hexalite sole unit. The upper features a mesh base with synthetic suede overlays and smooth leather stripes. By the way: the man behind the original design is none other than Christian Tresser, who also worked on other classic models from that era like the Reebok Daytona OG and the Air Max 97.
To fully nail the nostalgic aesthetics on the Aztrek, Reebok dip the shoe in two energetic retro colorways. One style assumes a capivating look with a mix of chalk white, collegiate royal and bright rose. For the second iteration, the crisp white base received fresh hits of teal and black accents on the stripe branding.
We took some exclusive shots of the latter colorway which you can inspect closer below. Read on to find out where to cop your pair – and also keep your eyes peeled to our Instagram account as there will be more Aztrek action for you to check out!
