Die Kollegen vom australischen Sneaker Freaker Magazine und Puma haben es mal wieder getan – zusammen mit Packer Shoes bringen sie eine weitere Blaze of Glory Kollaboration mit dem altbekannten Hai-Thema in die Läden. Der “Bloodbath” ist, wie der Name schon suggeriert, in einem dunklen Rot-Ton gehalten, lediglich die weiße Midsole und kleine Akzente in türkis setzen Kontraste. Inspiration der Kollabo ist einmal natürlich der Punkt, dass die meisten Hai-Attacken in einem Blutbad enden, zweitens und damit auch weit weniger brutal ist der Eindruck, den Woody, Chefredakteur des Magazines, beim Online-Release des ultra-limitierten “Sharkbait” hatte – Nur 50 Paar gingen online und waren binnen Millisekunden ausverkauft, ohne dass die Server stand halten konnten.
Mit dem “Bloodbath” ist Sneaker Freaker Magazine, Puma und Packer Shoes ein schöner Schuh gelungen – zunächst wird er exklusiv im Pop-UP Store in NYC verkauft, bevor er am 10.10. auch in Deutschland und der Schweiz (Solebox, Overkill, Titolo) ankommt!
PUMA and the australian colleagues from Sneaker Freaker Magazine did it again. But this time they got Packer Shoes as a third partner on boat for a last chapter of a special collabo that already started in 2008. After the “Great White”, “Black Beast” and the ultra rare “Sharkbait” in 2013 the “bloodbath” seems to end the story. “Blood Bath” is a symbol in two senses – on the one hand and referring to sharks a bloodbath is the common end of a shark attack and a little less brutal it’s what chief editor Woody had in his mind as an inspiration that came from the online release of the “Sharkbait” – only 50 pairs of it made it to the online store and the servers were severe overchallenged.
Clearly the colorway features many parts in red color with a white midsole and details in turquoise. “Sharkbite” logos on the sock liner and on the obligatory keychain symbolize the affiliation to the “shark family” from Herzogenaurach.
The PUMA X SNEAKER FREAKER MAGAZINE X Packer Shoes Blaze of Glory “Bloodbath” will be available on September 2nd in a special NYC Pop-Up Store and on October 10th via Solebox, Overkill and Titolo (exclusive for the german speaking countries)!
