PUMA unites past greatness and forward-thinking design in their latest drop. Releasing both an archive silhouette as well as a brand-new model, the PUMA Fast Rider and Future Rider now hit the shelves.
First released in the 80s, the Fast Rider still is one of the most comfortable and innovative models by the German brand. It features the shock-absorbing „Federbein“ outsole which gives the shoe a very distinct look. The nylon upper with suede and leather overlays results in the perfect mix of lightness and stability, making the Fast Rider perfect for everyday wear.
The Future Rider on the other side is an all-new silhouette that combines nostalgic elements with modern design. Uppers made from functional ripstop nylon, buttery smooth suede and smooth leather meet a rubber outsole that’s a little less pronounced than its Fast Rider counterpart. Dressed in vibrant colors, the look then pays homage to the throwback looks that inspired this model.
DID YOU KNOW?
“Federbein”, the German name of the Fast Rider’s striking sole unit literally translates to “feather leg”. This of course hints at the shoe’s lightness, as the the original model only weighed 278.7 grams.
