Reebok Classic explores the urban underground with a new collection, inspired by everything that lies between the surface in modern-day cities. Dropping on March 18, the Reebok Classic Urban Descent Collection brings back two classic models with their own underground and sub-cultural relevance: The Classic Leather and Workout Plus return with upscale materializations in a rugged color palette inspired by urban relics – and we bring you some on-feet shots below.
Starting with the Classic Leather (pictured above), single-handedly the most iconic Reebok running silhouette dating back to 1983, the collection’s inspirations from moss-covered ruins and abandoned infrastructure becomes apparent. The three colorways include sandy stone, industrial alloy, and a dark khaki green. The tone-on-tone uppers combine luxe velour leather with mesh inserts for an understated finish.
The second silhouette in the Urban Descent Collection is the Workout Plus (pictured above), which pioneered a new generation of gym shoes in the 1980s before “cross training” was even a thing, and now returns ready for urban exploration in a monochromatic treatment of the collection’s three colorways.
The Reebok Classic Urban Descent Collection will drop tomorrow, March 18, at select retailers including Asphaltgold, Snipes and Titolo, with a EUR 89.95 price tag.
