Virgil Abloh‘s collabs with Nike usually employ a very specific color palette, using monochrome tones to focus on the desconstructed design. But now we get a look at an OFF-WHITE x Nike Zoom Fly Sample that deviates from the formula.
The unreleased sneaker of course features the usual exposed stitching, midsole lettering and plastic hangtag. But in contrast to most pairs from the OFF-WHITE x Nike collab series, this pair uses a rather colorful design. Two tones of red make up the upper pattern, which sits on a black foam sole unit.
The initial Zoom Fly was part of the “GHOSTING” pack, which only featured white sneakers. This implies that the shoe wasn’t intended for the original “THE TEN” series and still might release at a later date.
Check out some detailed images below for a closer look at the sample.
