In current times, the hype-based part of sneaker culture is short-lived and fast-paced. It’s in fact so fast-paced that some people probably already forgot that Virgil Abloh’s “THE TEN” collection still remains incomplete. But after an indefinite delay, the OFF-WHITE x Converse Chuck Taylor now finally launches at premium sneaker stores around the globe.
As part of the “GHOSTING” series, the shoe features a translucent upper material. A milk-white tones merge with the light blue outsole, while “VULCANIZED” lettering stretches across the midsole. An “OFF-WHITE for Converse” print graces the inner sides and the “SHOELACES” also come with the infamous red cable strap.
To round out the design, signature elements of the classic Chuck Taylor 70 like the All Star quarter patch and heel emblem remain in place on the silhouette.
