Probably the most distinct entry of Virgil Abloh’s “THE TEN” collection, the Chuck Taylor finally gets a successor. The second version of the OFF-WHITE x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star already drops on October 2018.
Sans the first model’s “GHOSTING” approach, this new colorway ditches the translucent material for a traditional canvas upper. The white base displays the usual sample text and also comes with an orange hangtag. Furthermore, this iteration features black diagonal stripes on the midsole. Just like the arrows logo on the insole, these design choices remind of Virgil’s in-line OFF-WHITE items.
An orange outsole matches the tiny tag on the quarter patch, while reversed Converse All Star logos on the heels add finishing touches.
As you might remember, the first OFF-WHITE Chuck arrived with a delay of 6 months and then launched as a surprise drop at the Converse website. Needless to say, it sold out within minutes. So signing up for updates from them might be a good idea if you’re looking to score a pair this time.
