NikeLab always has something interesting in the pipeline, especially when it comes to blending proven designs with enhanced performance features. Here’s where the new NikeLab ACG Men’s collection (short for All Conditions Gear) comes in: Created for comfort, movement, and weather protection, the new collection features winter-ready outerwear and base layers, plus a progressive take on the classic Nike ACG Tallac hiking boot.
Most notably, the 2016 edition of the shoe’s 2008 silhouette adds Flyknit for a lightweight, contoured upper. The NikeLab ACG Zoom Tallac Flyknit also sits on a lightweight Phylon foam midsole loaded with a visible Nike Zoom Air forefoot unit. For secure grip on wet streets and trails, the shoe features a rugged rubber outsole.
Currently listed at a $275 price tag, the NikeLab ACG Zoom Tallac Flyknit will release in three colorways: Black/Dark Grey, Black/Cargo Khaki, and icy-cool looking Black/White/Pure Platinum. The sock liner entry, fused protection in the toe area, and rubber lacing overlay add stability while enhancing the boot’s tech aesthetic.
The 2016 NikeLab ACG Zoom Tallac Flyknit will launch December 1 – preview it on the Nike web store – on the same day as the opening of NikeLab locations in Chicago and Tokyo.
