Nike VaporFly 4%

 In News, Nike

Nike is back from the innovation lab. While adidas was the official sponsor of the Boston Marathon, five out of the first six finishers (male & female) wore Nike‘s latest creation – the Nike Vaporfly, which promises to make runners an additional 4% faster.

The key feature of the Nike VaporFly 4% is Nike’s new ZoomX sole. It’s constructed of a bouncy foam – considered by some to be the answer to adidas’ popular Boost cushioning! Additionally, the VaporFly features a steamlined upper with lightweight flyknit material for a sock-like fit. Nike aims to make runners capable of completing a marathon in under 2 hours, making the runner 4% faster.

We’re not sure yet how far the Nike VaporFly 4% will make it on the sneaker market, but it’s a dangerous new competitor to Boost on the track!

The Nike VaporFly 4% will be available in June, we’ll keep you updated about the exact release date.

You should definitely check out Nike’s second VaporFly silhouette – the innovative Nike VaporFly Elite!
