The Nike SB program is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, and the Swoosh is going back to the early days with another update of a cherished classic: The SB Dunk for pro team rider Richard Mulder was one of the original four styles that put Nike SB on the map – and it’s coming back in a high-top version cushioned by Zoom Air.
Released today, the fully skateable high-top features an all-white upper crafted from premium leather. Breathability in the Nike SB Dunk High “Richard Mulder” is enhanced by mesh over the tongue and collar.
Color accents on the Swoosh and heel panel are rendered in Orion Blue, inspired by the colors of Richard Mulder’s favorite baseball team – the Los Angeles Dodgers. Speaking about the inspiration for the shoe, the pro skater said: “I just wanted something that looked like my first pair of Nikes.”
These are probably going to sell quick if the Reese Denim high-top for OG Nike SB rider Reese Forbes is an indicator.
