With the M2K Tekno, Nike definitely delivered one of the finest interpretations of the chunky shoe crazy. Now the Swoosh brand releases a new colorway that heavily references the silhouette’s archetype.
The M2K Tekno took several design cues from the Air Monarch IV, which is something like the text book “dad shoe”. One of the three classic Monarch colorways is the White, Red and Black variant. And that one also works perfectly on the M2K. While the color blocking is basic 1-on-1 Monarch interpretation, the most notable difference is the use of white contrast stitching around the toebox and sidewalls. The black TPU heel clip and the M2K’s signature vertical tongue branding round off the design.
