Sometimes a new colorway can render a shoe’s entire silhouette in a new light. Case in point: The two new color variations of Nike’s latest runner silhouette, the Nike LunarCharge Premium. Dipped in Iced Jade and Camper Green, the lifestyle runner is now available at select retailers in Europe and the U.S.
The resulting look of the two colorways is less technical than, for instance, the Black or Bone versions of the LunarCharge Premium. The muted suede details contrast nicely with the shiny neoprene and darker PU eyestays. With their monochromatic upper, the new versions also veer more towards the lifestyle end of the spectrum than the original, more athletically styled Lunarcharge released in December 2016.
For a quick recap on the inspiration behind the Lunarcharge: Designed as an urban lifestyle sneaker, the Nike LunarCharge is a hybrid silhouette inspired by greatest hits such as eyestays from the Air Max 90, the silhouette from the Air Current and the bootie construction from the Air Presto.
