Hybrid sneakers that involve classic models always call for some controversy. Many purists consider their favorites as untouchable silhouettes that shouldn’t be altered at all. But when even certified vintage head Sean Wotherspoon shows love to a shoe like the Nike Air VaporMax 95 OG Neon, it’s worth to take a closer look.
Granted, Wotherspoon obviously also has a thing for great hybrids. And Sergio Lozano’s anatomy-inspired upper works perfectly with the distinct VaporMax sole. Featuring the OG Air Max 95 color combination of “Black/Volt-Medium Ash-Dark Pewter-Dust-Granite”, the shoe boasts a timeless design that still works just like it did 23 years ago. Set atop an opaque black VaporMax sole unit with vibrant neon accents, Nike then adds some their current top-notch technology.
