Nike Brings Back the Air Max2 Light in January
We’re only a couple of days into 2019, but Nike already sets off the year with a banger. Straight from the Swoosh archives, the Nike Air Max2 Light appears on the release schedules.
30 years ago, the first Air Max Light made its debut in 1989, while the Air Max2 Light followed 1994. By using phylon instead of polyurethane both shoes feature a more lightweight construction compored to the Air Max 1 – thus the “Light” affix. And while the original Air Max Light beared some resemblance to the AM1, the Air Max2 Light boasts a distinct and unique design.
Now the model finally hits the shelves again in an “University Gold” colorway. It combines a yellow suede base with white leather overlays, as a Racer Blue tongue and Flash Crimson Swoosh finalize the look.
