With a silhouette as illustrious as the Air Max 1, it gets hard to come up with new design. But Nike now found a rather unusual idea as the upcoming Air Max 1 Inside Out features a completely reversed upper.
Releasing in two yet untitled colorways, both styles display details like exposed stitching and a back-to-front Nike Air logo on the heels. In addition, even the size tag switches positions and appears on the front of the tongue. The usual Air Max tag hides away on the inside of the tongue in return. The Air unit fortunately remains in place, as the white midsoles on both sneakers reveal via the signature heel window. While the first colorway features subtle tones of grey and beige, the second iteration mixes natural hues with red accents on the stitching and laces.
