The Air Jordan 6 “Black Infrared” Returns in February
As the NBA All-Star Weekend approaches, Nike gears up with some appropriate releases. One of the clear standouts is the Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared, which returns in OG form in February.
The Jordan 6 is one of the mist historic entries in the Air Jordan line-up. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and originally released in 1991, it is the shoe in which Michael Jordan won his very first NBA championship. And during the finals series against the Lakes, MJ’s colorway of choice was the “Black / Infrared”.
The shoe features an all-black Nubuck upper with icy blue bottoms and of course the Infrared accents on the midsole, Jumpman logo on the tongue and lace lock. While previous retros also had a stitched Jumpman logo on the heel, the 2019 version returns in true OG form with Nike Air branding in the back.
