New Balance aimed on updating one of their most iconic running silhouettes when they released the 574 Sport earlier this year. The original 574 debuted in the late 1980s and still is one of the brand’s bestselling sneakers. With the 574 Sport, New Balance bridges the gap between lifestyle and performance once again, combining the classic look with its modern Fresh Foam cushioning. Beside the Fresh Foam cushioning, an Absorb crash pad and the one-piece sock liner guarantee perfect comfort for the everyday wearer.
After the initial release of the first black’n white colorways and 8 brand-new colorways in August, we’ll see four new colorways in early September. The first pack features mainly earth tones such as Desert Beige, Mountain Olive and Clay/Sand to pay homage to the origin of the New Balance 574 being an off-road running shoe. Premium suede, leather and stretch mesh on the upper underline the classic look of the pack.
The second pack to drop this weekend has a more dynamic style with a unique synthetic/mesh upper. It features a welded N logo and toe box construction on the streamlined silhouette and creates an athletic look. The color options include tonal white, black, navy and burgundy.
Both the New Balance MS 574 BB/BM and BG&MT will be available at selected sneaker retailers worldwide starting on September 2nd!
