With the Fresh Foam Hierro V5, New Balance introduces the latest update on their cutting-edge trail runner. The shoe combines a new generation of Fresh Foam cushioning with practical features that make it perfect for sporty outdoor explorations. In addition, the shoe is a dope lifestyle alternative for urban explorers that love to step off the beaten track.
Atop the recognizable foam midsole, the Hierro V5 uses a TPU-coated textile. This material choice not only ensures a snug fit, breathability and lightweight wearing comfort. It also repels water and dirt – which comes in useful during autumn and winter runs through muddy terrains. Nevertheless, a Debris-free upper makes sure that no dirt or small stones enter the sneaker.
Thanks to a reinforced toebox, your feet are protected when you accidentally bump into little sticks or pebbles. And at the bottoms, the Vibram Megagrip outsole provides traction on any ground, whether it’s wet and slippery or dry and uneven.
For a closer look at the Hierro V5 in action, we took the sneaker right to the streets. See how a trail sneaker not only works on city grounds, but also adds a unique twist to your favorite fit.
DID YOU KNOW?
New Balance introduced their Fresh Foam cushioning technology in 2013. What makes it special is that the raw EVA material is not only injected into a mould, but cooked again at the same time. This way, Fresh Foam gets a lot lighter and springier.
