Every now and then, even timeless classics need an update. That’s what New Balance already mastered with the introduction of the 574S. And now the brand prepares the launch of a 997 reinterpretation with the New Balance 997S.
Similar to the 574S, the silhouette aims to maintain the DNA of the original model while applying the latest tech of today. That’s why the 997S (S is short for “Sport”) features a sockliner for an enhanced fit as well as the modernized ENCAP reveal midsole.
In terms of aesthetics, NB banks on their tried and true strengths. The shoe releases in two clean colorways of White (MS997HGD) and Marblehead (MS997HGC). Check out the on-feet pics by asphaltgold and also find the release info below.
Release Details – New Balance 997S
The two New Balance 997S colorways launch in January 2019. They release at select retailers like asphaltgold and go for 149 €.
