Next to beloved retro versions of classic pairs, New Balance also introduces interesting new silhouettes on the regular. The US brand’s latest sneaker is the 920, which combines a well-tried design language with modern influences.
Unlike shoes from NB’s famous 99X series like the 990 or 997, the brand produces the 920 in England instead of the US. This is another nod to the 1000 series, which features popular UK-made silhouettes like the 1500. The 920 features aesthetic nods to both of those lines, while adding progressive touches at the same time. High-quality leathers, a reworked mesh material and reflective details form a streamlined sneaker that’s subtle yet eye-catching. The shoe embraces just enough retro style to enthuse fans of classic NB models, but also cater to those who appreciate a state-of-the-art running sneaker with no frills.
