As the classic 1500 celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, New Balance continues to put out special releases on the silhouette. After the rather subtle “Anniversary Pack” in March, the brand now launches the flashy New Balance 1500 90s Revival Pack.
The duo again consists of a 1500 and the new 1530 silhouette. On the latter, a RevLite sole reduces the shoe’s weight by 30 % – explaining the updated name. The regular 1500 on the other hand uses the silhouette’s usual ENCAP cushioning. Both shoes feature uppers of nubuck, smooth leather and mesh.
The 1530 appears in a dark mix of black and purple with teal accents, while the 1500 uses a white base with pink and teal highlights. Exquisite details like stitched branding finalize the two “Made In England” sneakers with the usual NB premium quality.
