K’LEKT.ION VOL II – LIFESTYLE CONVENTION – RECAP
Last Sunday saw the second edition of K’LEKT’s very own sneaker event – „K’LEKT.ion Vol II – Lifestyle Connection“ took place in Cologne and prove again why sneakers is such a big shot at the moment. Thousands of sneaker enthusiasts from all over Europe travelled to Cologne to buy, sell, trade but also to watch, talk sneakers or just have a great time with other sneakerheads at the convention.
Not only dozens of private sellers, resellers, shops and artists provided their kicks and other related stuff, several brands such as Stance and PinqPonq presented their products. Kangaroos showed the great Gamma+ collab, Reebok hosted a can knockdown contest and Puma tested the visitors table-tennis skills – these were by far not the only side-events. Vitamine Water hosted a chillout-area with free drinks, DJ’s were playing fine tunes the whole day and with a little luck you were able to win cool stuff in a raffle.
We can definitely say that the event was pretty successfull regarding the huge number of visitors and the long line in front of the entry – next time K’LEKT.ION could fill an even bigger space! We can’t wait!
Am vergangenen Sonntag fand die zweite Ausgabe der K’LEKT.ION statt, die dieses mal als „Lifestyle Convention“ nicht ausschließlich an Sneakernerds gerichtet war. Natürlich waren wir mit von der Partie!
K’LEKT.ION VOL II beweist als Veranstaltung einmal mehr, wie groß das Thema „Turnschuhe“ nach wie vor ist und dass der Boom wohl lange noch nicht am Ende ist. Tausende Besucher und zwischendurch sogar eine lange Schlange am Eingang dürften die Erwartungen der Veranstalter erfüllt, wohl sogar noch übertroffen haben. Wer dann mal in der Halle war, konnte an dutzenden Ständen von privaten Sammlern, Resellern und Shops Schuhe kaufen, verkaufen, tauschen, aber auch einfach mit Gleichgesinnten über den neuesten Turnschuhtratsch, Releases und was das Sneakerherz sonst so begehrt fachsimpeln –Egal ob Vintage, GR oder limitierter Release vom Vortag, alles war am Start!
Dazu kamen einige Marken, die teilweise nicht nur ihre Produkte zeigen wollten, sondern zur Aktivität aufriefen. Beim Dosenwerfen mit Reebok konnten Beutel, Schals und Schuhe gewonnen werden, Puma wollte beim Rundlauf-Turnier die Tischtennis-Skills der Sneakerheads testen.
Abseits der Stände war natürlich auch Einiges geboten – es gab eine Sneaker-Tombola, Vitamin Water baute eine Chillout-Area mit Free Drinks auf, ein DJ’s sorgten für die passende Beschallung.
K’LEKT.ION VOL II war ein voller Erfolg – wir kommen wieder!
