For a couple of months, we’ve been seeing pics of a collab by Ronnie Fieg and the Swoosh. As a true New Yorker, the KITH head honcho of course had to put his unique touch on a pair of uptowns. This far, the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 still stays somewhat shrouded in mystery though.
For your best look yet at the sneaker, feast your eyes on the pics by DJ Clark Kent and Filling Pieces founder Guillaume Philibert. The two already received their F&F pairs from Mr. Fieg himself and we generous enough to share pics. Those reveal a crisp white leather upper – a no-brainer for any AF1 design. Special details then catch the eye upon closer examination. The lateral Swoosh features a debossed check pattern with several KITH logos that underline the sophisticated look just like the golden lace tips and dark navy lining. A green mini Swoosh serves as the only real color accent on the upper, while the off-white midsole adds subtle contrast.
According to the note by Ronnie Fieg which is visible in Clark Kent‘s pics, the Nike shoes are “for friends and family only”. We’re not sure if that only applies to those pairs being sent out before an official launch or if there will be a completely different sneaker that releases to the general public. So for now we all have to wait and see what 2020 brings.
