You know cocky Europeans always got something to say when Americans get involved with anything football-related (or soccer, duh). But Ronnie Fieg definitely gets a pass, as he now already presents his second World Cup collection. The Kith x adidas Football collab even picks up design cues from Fieg’s 2014 “KFE” collection.
In terms of footwear, Fieg teased two silhouettes. A multicolor iteration of the adidas Ace 16 PureControl Ultra Boost is a sleek option for everyday wear.
The Copa Mundial 17 Ultra Boost on the other hand boasts a striking gold colorway similar to the “KFE” ASICS GEL-LYTE III. Red, white and blue color accents on the Three Stripes branding finish the patriotic design.
Apart from sneakers, Ronnie Fieg also revealed a track suit, jersey, shorts, socks and scarf that match the Copa Mundial 17 Ultra Boost. On top of that, a retro-styled goalkeeper jersey that draws inspiration from the 1994 Germany kit (also by adidas) is a true highlight.
Since the US team didn’t qualify for the 2018 World Cup, we probably won’t see the full collection launch in time before the tournament starts on June 14. But below you can already get a first look at all the pieces that Fieg has revealed until now.
