Converse Inc. and London’s famous sneaker store Footpatrol just announced an exquisite partnership. They teamed up and created a special One Star sneaker and accompanying coaches jackets, inspired by mysterious kerb stone markings – they’re unique to the Soho area where Footpatrol is situated.
Foot Patrol and Converse used only premium materials and unique detailing: a suede upper with a leather lining creates an extra premium feel with a “Kerb stone” logo embroidered on the toe box and heel and printed on the outsole. Also the Footpatrol branding is embroidered and debossed on the shoes. To round off the great detailing, a set of custom-printed laces are included.
As part of the release celebration, photographer Ollie Grove shot a series of “Jewels of Soho”, representing the unique street culture of Soho. The photography series will be showcased online and in the store!
The “Jewels of Soho” Converse x Foot Patrol One Star sneaker and Coaches Jacket will be available on July 6 at Footpatrol, converse.com and foot patrol.co.uk at a price of 90€ for the One Star and 100€ for the jacket.
