Aberdeen sneaker store Hanon continues their work with Le Coq Sportif, presting a sequel to their 2018 joint project. The Hanon x Le Coq Sportif LCS R800 “The Good Agreement” features premium materials and a cross-border theme.
The shoe again references an ancient alliance between France and Scotland during the middle ages. Extending the alliance to England, the LCS R800 uses a combination of suedes sourced in England and a technical cotton fabric produced in Scotland. The plush suede from Leeds and cotton of Dundee come from world-renowned factories that continue to produce premium materials for the world’s most renowned luxury brands to this day. In addition, microperfed pigskin appears on the lining and collar of the shoe and the plush suede laminate insole is finished with a stitched leather overlay. A tricolor stitch on the tongue then alludes to the shoe’s Made in France premium production.
Colorwise, a white midsole harmonises with the beige and grey upper hues while the tongue and collar feature navy and black tones. Dual brandings on the tongue, heel and insoles add finishing touches to the collab. The sneaker arrives in a special black box printed with both logos that includes a hang tag and four lace sets.
