With a history dating back to 1898, Saucony is known and cherished as one of the most influential footwear companies in the running segment. But it’s not all heritage pieces and retro releases: On March 11, the US-company presents the next evolution of the Freedom silhouette by releasing the Freedom Trilogy.
The limited edition release introduces technical updates and next-level materials while maintaining the design DNA of the original. First in line is a brand-new shoe: The lightweight Freedom ISO model (pictured above) with its ventilated ISOFIT upper sits on an EVERUN foam midsole – Saucony’s first full EVERUN sole – for responsive traction.
Second is a blend of new materials and 1980s style: With a full suede upper in a number of strong colorways – including a buttery blue and dark red – the Freedom Runner also packs an impact-absorbing EVERUN midsole.
For added flair, the shoe comes with metallic lace loops and what’s more: Both the Freedom ISO and Freedom Runner feature cool graphics under the semi-translucent outsole.
And finally bringing things full circle, the drop also marks the return of the original Freedom Trainer first introduced in 1981 in its original colorways crafted from original materials.
The Saucony Freedom Trilogy will release on March 11 at select retailers including Asphaltgold, 43einhalb, Afew, TheGoodWillOut, and Allike. Also keep it locked to @SauconyOrigs_Germany on Instagram for more news as release day approaches.
