It’s been a long time coming since Nicholas Tershay started a DIY skate brand in his one-bedroom apartment and kicked off the legacy that would later turn him into the man known as Nick Diamond. From the humble beginnings of moving to L.A. to sell shred hardware to establishing Diamond Supply Co. as one of the most popular names in streetwear, Mr. Diamond also left his mark on a slew of sneakers along the way.
For 2018, a slew of classic PUMA silhouettes receives the much acclaimed Diamond treatment, going all-out with the signature Tiffany Blue color scheme on two contrasting Clyde iterations. This particular model famously made the transition from being Walt Frazier’s signature b-ball sneaker to becoming a go-to pair of kicks that skaters hold close to their hearts for their perfect mix of style and durability. None the less dear to every seasoned sneakerhead, the classic PUMA Suede silhouette is dipped in both lavender with a black Formstripe and clean black with a Tiffany Blue accent. The Sky II then assumes a rather simple look with each a pair in black and white that both sit on a gum sule and feature stitched “Diamond” branding on the heels.
The full Diamond Supply Co. x PUMA collection also features a bold apparel collection that brings back retro PUMA sportswear aesthetics. Pieces include track suits, longsleeve tops, tees and a backpack – check out the skate-themed lookbook shots below.
