Details About the Rumored Nike x Off-White Collaboration
Chicago-based designer Virgil Abloh has made a name for himself as style whisperer to Kanye West and founder of avant-garde streetwear label Off-White. The 36-year-old doesn’t engage in sneaker releases all the time, but when he does, there’s bound to be some speculation. A collab between Nike and Off-White has been rumored for some time now, and we have collected some of the details.
With no confirmed release date as of yet, the Nike x Off-White Collaboration most likely includes ten styles:

All shoes feature Off-White’s signature aesthetic of bold graphic elements in the form of customized and re-positioned Swooshes and colored tabs, together with product manual-style writing in sans-serif typeface – including the OFF-WHITE brand name and the word AIR – on the uppers.
Here’s a shot of the collection’s Air Force 1 – featuring Nike’s postal address printed on the medial – from Virgil Abloh’s Instagram:
Another interesting detail is the bold text printed on shoelaces – including the actual word SHOELACES – throughout the collection. It’s something we’re seeing right now from the likes of Footpatrol x Reebok and Vans Vault x Goodhood London.
Here is a leaked pic of the SHOELACES imprint on the Off-White Air Max 90:
It’s not all just black-and-white colorways, as the drop will feature a classic Air Jordan 1 in red and white, worn by Virgil Abloh in this shot:
The collection is also supposed to include a Nike Blazer with a “dropped” version of the Swoosh, revealed in leaked photos:
And it’s not all classics, either, as leaked images – like this one from s.sam.group – also include a triple black version of the Vapormax with dramatic stitching on the all-white Swoosh and the word AIR on the upper:
