So basically for all of us who don’t fancy buying an extra hiker, when you can go for an everyday sneaker with performance DNA and fit for trail. Because that’s what Columbia SH/FT is.
As a new generation discovers the beauty of nature in an urbanized world, Columbia aims to allow a more seamless move from pavement to path. “We see a movement taking place as more young people are looking to nature and the outdoors to find balance and recharge from their busy lives in the city,” said Peter Ruppe, Vice President of Footwear at Columbia. “To answer that call, we’ve created an entirely new collection of footwear that speaks to their sense of urban style while delivering trail-worthy performance for the outdoors.”
Looking at the sneaker range, all four silhouettes combine modern aesthetics with high-energy color options and athletic comfort. Bringing their decade-logng experience to the table, Columbia also outfits the sneakers with only the finest in outdoor-ready technology. The SH/FT midsole features a dual compound cushioning composite that offers high resiliency for long lasting use and exceptional energy return. In addition, the outsoles provide all-terrain traction while a waterproof breathable technology called OutDry that protects from the wet.
