Since its founding in Los Angeles in 2001, Clae shoes has always been at the intersection of footwear and culture. Keeping an ear to the streets, the brand frequently releases special edition mixtapes with of-the-moment artist. Now they have tapped DJ and composer Pone for a special mix entitled “Waiting for the Sun”.

The mix – available for free listening on Clae’s website – accompanies Pone’s new album “Radiant,” on which has teamed up with collaborators Superpoze and Boogie Vice to compose and arrange equally innovative and ambient soundscapes.

pone-2-c-kid-santoClae specializes in modernized silhouettes of classic sneakers – using the finest leathers and materials – crafted with the addition of technical details and special care in a handmade process. For a deeper look into the genesis of the album, Clae also sat down with Pone for an exclusive interview, featured on the Clae blog. And you can listen to the Clae x Pone mix right here. Born Thomas Parent, Pone has been at the forefront of the music scene for more than 20 years, you can follow him on Instagram @djpone1. The new album, “Radiant,” is now available on iTunes.dccd
