The Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB collab is great news for ice cream lovers and sneaker afficionados alike. The two brands teamed up for the Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky”, a special sneaker dedicated to the world famous ice cream manufacturer.
While there’s no official confirmation from the two powerhouses behind this collab yet, there already are some pics that give us a first impression. They reveal the Nike classics draped in the world-famous ice cream package design – and a couple of clever details. The shoe’s base shows a green meadows pattern, as faux cowskin overlays catch the eye. A yellow Swoosh with drip effects appears on the sides, while a rainbow-colored lining mirror’s Ben & Jerry’s strong stance for equality. A pair of white SB laces then finalizes the mouth-watering aesthetics on a subtle note.
DID YOU KNOW?
The name “Ben & Jerry’s” is not just a marketing gimmick. It comes from Ben Cohen und Jerry Greenfield – the two friends who founded the company in 1978 after taking a course in ice-cream making from Penn State.
