atmos already is responsible for a fair share of 2018’s top notch Air Max heat. Now the Tokyo sneaker retailer partners with Nike to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of a classic AM1 colorway.
Originally released back in 2003 and first reported to come back in 2017, the Nike Air Max 1 Curry was a SMU release and remains one of the most beloved color iterations of the Tinker Hatfield-designed running silhouette. But of course the remaining OG pairs also suffer from the ravages of time. That’s why a retro release is more than welcome by now.
As on the original, the premium material mix of suede, nubuck and mesh comes dressed in clean white and two curry-colored tones. Blue accents on the tongue label and upper laces holes then complete the well-seasoned of this beloved sneaker.
If you’re still undecided on whether to get a pair or not, the guys from asphaltgold snapped some on-feet shots of the AM1 Curry. Check them out below and read on for the release info.
