When we had a first look at the Air Jordan line-up for Summer 2020, we already saw a couple of retro releases worth copping. Now one of the absolute standouts finally got a drop date from Nike: the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Flint”.
First released back in 1998, the shoe still remains among the most beloved colorways on Michael Jordan‘s 13th signature model. After its original launch, the shoe received the retro treatment in 2005 and 2010. Rumors that predicted another re-release in 2017 turned out to be false however. But when the Flint 13s now finally return, they do so in all their original beauty. It combines a white leather base with the eponymous Flint Grey Nubuck panels. The overlays in University Blue feature 3M accents that add a unique design acent, while the Jumpman logo on the tongue and hologram on the heel finalize the classic sneaker.
DID YOU KNOW?
The AJ 13 “Flint” was among the 5 OG colorways that released during the 1997/98 NBA season. The other four original styles were the “He Got Game“, “Cherry”, “Playoff” and “Bred” colorways.
