Anyone who wants YEEZYS will eventually get YEEZYS. adidas kept that promise by releasing the latest 700 “Mauve” colorway in large quantities. Now there’s a follow-up silhouette with the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 Static ready to hit the shelves.
First revealed back in May, the 700 V2 features a distinctive chunky midsole similar to the V1. A slightly different upper with a mesh base and leather overlays differs not only from the initial 700, but also from the V2 revealed by Kanye West himself. Different light grey tones appear on the upper, while the white midsole and black outsole round off the “Static” colorway.
Since the V2 update of the YEEZY 350 meant more colorways in less limited quantities, this might also apply to the 700 V2. So let’s see if this release is the kickoff for a new round of 700s in 2019.
