After two limited releases via YEEZY Supply and during NBA All Star Weekend, the adidas YEEZY 500 Blush finally sees a wider launch. The latest silhouette from the adidas + KANYE WEST collab line sports a super-bulky look, continuing the approach previously seen on the YEEZY BOOST 700 Wave Runner.
The shoe’s upper is composed of cow suede, premium leather and mesh with nubuck accents. A rubber wrap along the midsole adds stability, while adiPRENE+ cushioning absorbs impact and optimizes rebound. The non-marking rubber outsole shows hypnotic swirl patterns and provides traction.
Originally called “Desert Rat”, this YEEZY 500 colorway features a sort of chalk white or light grey tone. Some subtle contrasts to the pale hues come in form of reflective piping details around the lace eyelits.
