adidas and Palace Skateboards are at it again with an upcoming drop of apparel that already has the hype machine running in overdrive. Plus, the adidas x Palace – Summer 2017 Collection will also feature some breezy sneakers, or “banging trainers” in the London-based brand’s parlance.
So what are these trainers?
Rumored to have an (unconfirmed) EUR130.00 price point, the model in question is a new rendition of the classic adidas Indoor silhouette. The lightweight and breathable low-top sits on a natural rubber gum sole and features gold Palace lettering on the laterals.
The shoe will be available in two colorways: First, there’s blue version with yellow accents, modelled by team rider Blondey McCoy in the campaign’s lookbook as well as subway ads throughout London.

And second, there is a light gray version with blue and yellow stripes and tan accents throughout, teased here on Palace Skateboards’ Instagram:
Looking closely, the triangle pattern on the outsole and tongue is definitely a nice touch, creating a sporty look together with the Indoor model’s lightweight mesh aesthetic.
The adidas x Palace – Summer 2017 Collection collection will feature a full line-up of athletic jerseys, hats, sweaters, shorts, track suit tops, as well as a lounge robe in all-white with Palace x adidas co-branding and a debossed Palace triangle logo on the back. Here, have a look at the entire Lookbook, featuring Palace pro skateboarder Blondey McCoy.
So when’s the drop date? The adidas x Palace – Summer 2017 Collection will be launching on Friday June 16 at the Palace London and New York City shops as well as online at 11:00am London Time | 11:00am Est | 8:00am Pst.
