With adidas Watches, the Three Stripes continue to supply sneakerheads with unique timepieces that complement the brand’s illustrious sneaker range. Sometimes these nods to the past are rather subtle and general, but sometimes rather explicit, as in this case. Because here’s a 1:1 companion to an existing adidas sneaker.
The latest model to release is the ARCHIVE_R2 x Nite Jogger. And those of you who’ve done their math now that this is no coincidence, because the watch is a clever counterpart to the sneaker that we decided put on our 10 Years Anniversary issue’s cover. Just like the shoe, the wristwatches assume subtle base tones of Black and Grey and the cotton watchband feels solid and thick. In addition, there are stitched orange details, color accents on the control buttons as well as reflective parts on the band.
All of this perfectly mirrors the nighttime creative theme already known from the Nite Jogger sneakers. It’s a watch built for those that thrive most after the clock strikes midnight –the ARCHIVE_R2 x Nite jogger always lets you know what time it is. And it’s never too late.
