Since the concept of combining football aesthetics with exaggerated soles worked out great on the Kamanda, adidas is in for a reprise. The adidas Sobakov puts a spin on a well-tried formula.
Just like the Kamanda, the Sobakov’s overall look bears some resemblance to adidas football classics like the Samba. The silhouette’s black textile upper features discreet smooth leather details on the tongue and heel cap. A curved Three Stripes pattern also graces both sidewalls and wraps around the shoe’s heel.
Nevertheless, the most notable element undoubtedly is the tooling. The overstated gum sole serves as a contrast to the sleek upper, while wavelike patterns adds some powerful design dynamics. To round things out, the rose-colored insoles receive a special adidas Sobakov branding in blue.
