adidas Skateboarding ehrt mit dem hier zu sehenden adidas Skateboarding The Skate eine Legende der “Skateboarding Photography”. Es handelt sich um Skin Phillips aus Wales, der in den vergangenen 30 Jahren nicht müde wurde, den für viele schönsten Sport der Welt in ikonischen Bildern festzuhalten.

Der The Skate Skin RYR ist Teil der “Respect Your Roots” Kollekion, die schon bald bei ausgesuchten Händlern erhältlich sein wird. Das schwarze Upper des ursprünglich 1978 releasten Schuhs ist aus leicht genarbtem Leder. Lediglich das Overlay auf der Toebox kommt in Wildleder. Die Drei-Streifen und das Heel Tab sind weiß, wie auch die Sohle und das Zungenlabel. Auf eben jenem Zungenlabel ist im Stile eines adidas Stan Smith das Konterfei von Skin Phillips zu sehen. Goldene Akzente setzen das Lace Jewel, das Trefoil auf dem Heel Tab, sowie das Lettering auf dem Zungenlabel und neben den Three-Stripes.

adidas Skateboarding honors a legend of “Skateboarding Photography” with the adidas Skateboarding The Skate that can be seen here. The legend is Skin Phillips from Wales, who has not gotten tired of producing iconic images of the for many of you most beautiful sport in the world during the past 30 years.

The Skate Skin RYR is part of the “Respect Your Roots” collecion, which will be available at select retailers soon. The black upper of the originally 1978 released shoe is made of full-grain leather. Only the overlay on the toebox comes in suede. The Three-Strips and the heel tab are white, as well as the sole and the tongue label. On that very tongue label can be see the likeness of Skin Phillips just in the style of an adidas Stan Smith. Golden accents are set with the lace jewel, the Trefoil on the heel tab, the lettering on the tongue label and the lettering next to the Three-Stripes.
